The world in which we live today has many demands for keeping an efficient, beautiful environment. Being wasteful or harmful to our environment makes it difficult for us to live as well as future generations. We should always be mindful of steps we can take to keep a smart and efficient environment at all times. This can include taking steps like finding efficient ways to create power or output with little input in comparison.
One way in which this can happen is by the use of gas turbines, or by the use of combustion turbines. This is a kind of “internal combustion engine”, including a swiveling compressor alongside a turbine with a combustion chamber separating the two components. If all goes according to plan, the efficiency of gas turbines can be well worth the process. The process goes like this: if one adds energy to the combustor gas stream, fuel then combines with air and ignites. As result, the temperature increases and the products are forced into the turbine section.
Next, the quickly-moving gas flow moves completely through an opening just above the blades of the turbine. This force of velocity and volume propels the blades, thus powering the compressor.
